We just took a scouting trip out to the I-90 region of Wyoming. Stops along the way included Buffalo, Sheridan, Gillette, and Sundance, along with lesser known spots like Spotted Horse and Upton. Wyoming boasts some of the country's most magnificent desolation, and that includes architecture as well as landscapes. In no particular order, here are the abandoned motels, diners, and pit stops of I-90.

Why on earth would someone abandon a motel? They are so inexpensive and very comfortable. Some even have air compressors which is really helpful for the most random things you could possible think of.
